Hi, I'm an Italian and Brazilian citizen working as a Senior Platform Engineer at Wellhub, based in Porto, Portugal. I work on observability and cloud-native infrastructure, helping teams improve operational visibility, performance, and incident response. I hold a Bachelor's in Information Systems from Universidade Paulista and certifications in Prometheus (PCA), Kubernetes (CKA), and HashiCorp Terraform.

I'm genuinely passionate about technology and love getting my hands dirty with new tools. I run a homelab that stays up 24/7, where I experiment, break things on purpose, and figure out how they actually work. Most of what I write here starts there.

Career

Wellhub · Sep 2022 - Present

Currently on the observability team. Our infrastructure spans 20+ AWS accounts and handles a high volume of metrics and logs, built on Thanos, Loki, Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog. Day-to-day with AWS, ArgoCD, and Python.

Lately a lot of AI work. Built Lestrade, an org-wide agent that triggers kagent analyses on Grafana alerts and posts the results to chat, helping on-call engineers across the whole company cut down triage time. I also own cost visibility through AWS CUR 2.0, and help teammates reach their goals.

Earlier at Wellhub, I led the design of an AWS Backup-based Disaster Recovery architecture with a Logically Air-Gapped Vault, automated end-to-end via GitOps with ArgoCD and Crossplane. Also led the migration of our service catalog from Confluence to Backstage.

Where I spent 11 years across four roles. CI&T is a consulting company, so I moved between client projects, each with its own stack: I worked on projects for Coca-Cola, Honda, and NSK, and later on CI&T's own internal products. Across them I built middlewares, APIs, and CRUDs with Java and Spring Boot, Angular, Node.js, TypeScript, Oracle SQL, and Redis, plus a lot of shell scripting along the way. Shipped them on Docker and Kubernetes, with CI/CD through Jenkins and later GitHub Actions. Worked under Scrum and Kanban, with Jira and Zendesk running everything. Later led an engineering team as Software Architect, and closed my time there on the DevOps side building Azure infrastructure as code with Terraform.
